Immobiliser Issue HELLPPP :( Empty
PostSubject: Immobiliser Issue HELLPPP :(   Immobiliser Issue HELLPPP :( EmptyFri 22 Mar - 17:19

Hello, help needed... Today I removed my air con system and to get to one of the bolts I removed the battery. When connecting the battery back together the alarm went off but didn't stay on for long. I turned the car over and it started up fine and then because my boot catch doesn't work I had to take the keys out of the ignition and open the boot then returning back to the car the car wouldn't start. So I opened the bonnet and disconnected the battery thinking that may sort it and then when I tried reconnection the battery again the alarm went off again. Afterwards I tried to starting the car again but nothing. When sitting in the car with no keys in the ignition a little key flashes up on the dash every 5 seconds or there about, the little red light which is near the clock doesn't light up at all, keys in or out of the ignition. The key fob will no longer lock or unlock the doors, I have to now use the door lock with the key, also I don't know the 4 digit code for the manual immobilizer and also I read in the booklet after every time you press a digit the red light should light up once but it flashed about 10 times. The car battery isn't flat because the dash lights come up and the CD player works. I am going to try a new battery in my fob but have a felling its more serious than that. I'm wondering if the alarm going off has shut the car down completely? Any and every bit of help will be appreciated ! Thanks

07896 304 045 is my number and this is on a 2003 Blob, Alcatek ECU, Factory Immobilizer

Seems very much like the keys need reprogramming, since they wont lock or unlock the vehicle and wont mobilise the car? I should try new batteries first...
