| Lian has done it again, dropped her phone in a puddle this time lol, it's freaking out like her last one did, does anyone know how to repair them? I've watched them done on youtube, but mobile are not my forte. Thanks John | |

| when I dumped mine in a bucket water i put it in uncooked rice and after 2 day it seemed to do the trick didn't last long after that as it had a battery shortcut about 2 weeks later

| Yeah we did that with the last one keffer, did improve it a bit but was still playing up. We drying it out at the minute, but I'm not expecting much | |

| Did that with the house phone (think I told you about it last time) - you have to remove the battery and open everything up as best you can, back off, sim out and bury it completely under uncooked rice for 48 hours and it worked perfectly - even after it had been dropped into a full mop bucket and taken loads of water in. I did open where the screen is and used a cotton bud as there was a bit of condensation in there still .. but jobs a good 'un Haven't you taken insurance out on them? Ours are on a 'tech pack' through Barclays and it works out cheaper and they'll replace them if can't be mended ...could always take out cover :-) lol |

| Well the phone seems to be okay now, we were out valeting at the time, so she stripped it and put it on his heater, for some reason he never had a bag of rice but so far so good. | |

| once they are wet they are fooked .. take it out of her wages, and make her work twice as hard in the cold while you have a cupa.. that'l teach her if you at the next meet Lian, i didnt type this.. LOL | |
