| Hi there after recent purchase of my impreza around Christmas time, I though i would check the engine numbers to see what model my car truly was ( seeming though on the logbook all it said was impreza 2.0) (import) and when checking the engine numbers it has came back as a 555 model, however I thought these were only made in blue but mines in 406 silver, would the best bet be to ring subaru and see what info they can get me ?
Many thanks | |

| Interesting post/link Keith Where is Jonny Gav when you need him I must admit I don't know much about the 555 variant and the info I posted above was a copy and paste job from typeRA.net Before reading that I was going to say I'm sure I have seen yellow 555's before there's one for sale at SVA imports now, but after reading the info from typeRA.net I just thought that it must of been mis advertised as many many classic imprezas are | |

| Just seen this, yeah it's a v2 STI but they did 2 runs of v2 STI, the 1st run was a 100 run and the second run was a 200 run, you should have a plaque on the opposite side to the vin tag with the number on. It should have a "hand crafted and tuned by STi" badge on the alternator cover too and a silver intercooler, these cars produces 275ps in standard form, the most powerful pre facelift classic | |
