I was led to belive that Tesco is 99 Ron and V Power is 99.8 Ron
Wouldn't that make V Power slightly better ??
Probably un noticeable like
I was also told that Tesco 99 has a much higher ethanol content which is bad for fuel lines but I use Tesco all the time as I live about 45 seconds away
Yeh thats also what I've heard, uses ethanol to boost the octane rating? Don't know how true this is. I've also heard that having a tank of tesco 99 sit unused for a while can be bad for the engine as residence time allows the ethanol to come out of the solution....again don't know how true this is. Can't understand how it would be bad for fuel lines though?
All I know is, from what I've read, that tesco 99 performs better than all the fuels, even V power, although unsure as to the new stuff nitro+.

My old Blob was mapped for BP super UL before we got the Tesco in Bish and the performance difference was noticeable when I got it remapped for the Tesco 99, so there must be something in it. Maybe you'd need at weak to see any difference Jonny, but I imagine it would be marginal as law of diminishing returns kicking in at some point.
