Probs this time last year was wen the plugs n stuff were done done about 9000 since maybe more
What I mean by borking is it looses power and don't want to accelerate all you get is air filter noise (BORK) lol

Should try giving it a service and have look at clean maff up and try that see what it's like could also be bad plug lead etc

it could be a coil pack if you are on separates they condense over night and can cause this problem then once warm they dry and are usually fine
