Free for 6 months as we have the full package then £12.50 extra a month, lets hope it's worth it!

you should see speeds around 36/38 up and about 8 down
all depends how close you are to the cabinet (green box) and if your broadband has been fitted correctly (had to run a new cable through Mario's garden to get his working right!!)

Cheers for that Daz. Installed and ran it a few times. Averaged about 22 up and 8 down. No idea where the green box is, will have to go and check and I wasn't here when Sky fella installed, but have to assume he knew what he was doing. Will PM postcode for checking.

Thanks for the info Daz. I downloaded a few Apps last night and played around on iPlayer and YouTube etc and it was noticeably quicker navigating content, almost seemless, but general surfing was about on par with previous - perhaps due to your comment about iPad connectivity in general.
As I said unfortunately I wasnt here when the Sky guy called so I cant comment on competancy of the job, but if you are ever in the area with work or whatever, I'd certainly take you up on your offer to have a quick look see Wink

Surely that first mouse will be dead by now, you need to put another one on the wheel at the exchange and try a bigger bit of cheese.

Rooter, they dont advertise it widely, but you can pay your line rental up front. I just did and it averaged out at about £10 per month for the year.

Thats a full tank of go-go juice to the likes of us Wink
