Yea it's not cheap I know but when you look at the parts fitted and put a price on them and labour costs it works out as a decent price.
Bought not built its the way forward

It's pricey but am buying it and I have secured us a brand new member on here with one of the best looking blob sti's that's ever been on here (mine) lol! lol!

Steve going off the spec it should (should) be pushing around the 430-450 mark so it won't be a lazy car like its owner lmfao Very Happy

Its been for sale for awhile so that's a blagging point, wheels are another bargaining tool as tey make me frown.

Its spec is really good but by sound of it the price is still high!

Stick how much have you spent on yours so far ??
If you didn't have the gear and the skills how much would it of cost you in labour ?
How much more are you going to spend ?
You know your going to spend at least another £2-3000 on it don't you Laughing

At least if I did get the car I would be happy with the spec and not have to sneak about telling the wife silly lies and excuses about where all the money has gone anymore.

Once I had replaced the wheels obviously

Yes you can say built not bought BUT I would be able to just show you my bank account with my middle finger raised and a smug grin on my face lol!

You alway fancy a class mate so if it the one you want and price is right why not 6 speed go for £1200 + forged engine 2.5 k so on

You need change wheel and get set gauges other than that is done

Spent - £5000ish
Going to spend - £10,000 LOL

I know what your saying though, far easier to buy one already sorted and enjoy straight away than build, get the grief and then enjoy. The car linked is awesome spec'd for the money and also like you say if you add the bits up and then labour etc ... your well into mad money..

HAHA, abit bad luck that was, it was corking once rebuilt though.

I just need a decent CDB to continue the engine gathering parts..

That's the thing has has me a bit concerned its got all the right bits in the engine but it's an open deck block. What kind of power is a forged ODB good for ?

Don't worry about the ODB, it's only an issue at high 400's and over if everything else is done right.

Sweet thanks Jonny. Just need to see some documented proof of said engine parts then.
The car has been for sale for a while and the guy don't seem to want to budge on the price so am gunna give it some serious consideration over the next 2-3 days.
