Well as time was against us the respray has been put on hold so a effort is being made to get a bit life back in the paint. 9 month of sitting down the side of the house took its toll. So out with the clay bar and 1 pass with Meg's ultimate. Think a couple more passes and a coat of zymol titanium will finish it nice.

Had all the geometry set up on the car and corner weighted. Also the final bits of the fuel tank turned up.
The camber is quiet aggressive on the front

25kg. A think. Was hoping to be under 1100 but still not bad a have been told as it has full cage and 6speed with lager rear diff and hubs. There is still a bit to be cut out of doors ect. Think standard there about 1220. Saved about 35-40kg. Still 200kg lighter than a new age

So Castle Combe came and went..... We didn't do that good but we're not the worst!

Round 2 was Oulten park, Inner rally circuit, 50/50 glass and concrete?! This is super slippery and like nothing I've drive on before, including ice!! Day was slow to start with to learn the track and we were at the bottom by miles, just couldn't get used to it! After using the hydro to start to navigate the corners we were banging in better times, we were using cheap road tyres as the surface glazes up the tyres so they don't make too much difference. We ran them at lower pressure to try and get some heat into them but no better. After dinner break we needed to make some repairs ...

We were trying hard mind as this 3 wheeling pic proves ...

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Anyhow, we put the Dunlop 03Gs on and went for it, we banged in better times and were beginning to claim the leader board, albeit too late, finish mid order though so pleased with that. Car working and having no issues bar a few grazes and abit frontal repairs still required, makes us happy drivers.

Few new editions to the car come in the form of some super cheap Whiteline billet drop links for the rear and some new Dunlop X10s to try out and see how we go on them. They have an intermediate cut to the inner edge as well so can be used as wets should we feel brave ...

Decided that the Cobra Monaco seat we had was not really helping us so it needed to be swapped over, we decided to go with a Corbeau Revolution, nice 6/7kg seat with side mounts,
