| Wouldn't a 321V and 1000 cc be a bit over kill on a 2.0L? Go 2.5 mate | |

My old 2.2 Type R had a 321v fitted before I bought it, and TBH it was frightening, you couldn't drive it hard, as you were forever correcting it. I had it removed & replaced with a 20g. If it were ment for a track that would be a different matter.

I wouldnt have a problem sticking with my 20G and maxing it out (or there abouts), to be honest i was just getting a little carried away , im just going to stay sensible and keep it quick for the road but not too quick. Anyone got or know of a 2.0 CDB for sale? Im new to this level of modding so this maybe a stupid question but...... Providing my heads are free from damage woulld they be a direct fit to the CDB? Are the CDB's that are used, from early classics? or can you buy a new CDB?

| Yeah the bottom end is a direct fit mate, from memory I am sure the 2004 STI engine is semi closed deck too, that is plenty strong for even a 450 build.
Would be a great starting point as you won't need pistons etc

| CDB can be had new, dig deep though.
Buy a second hand CDB and get some nice parts in it for a forged 2.0, anywhere from £250 will get you a block,
