My car has started playing up running lumpy started on Sunday .we unplugged tick over sensor and car cut straight out unplugged maf sensor and car keeps running been told might be sucking air and to spray brake cleaner around engine if it revs up its a leak but don't fancy car going bang lol .going to borrow a coil pack to eliminate that but any one got a maf I could borrow or any ideas

Might be the ecu getting confused if you've got engine mods but not told it, it could be running out of the standard parameters. Has it been remapped?

Another simple thing to try is cleaning out the throttle body and ensure butterfly is clean so it can return to closed position properly, crap in there can cause idling problems that look like air leaks, when was the filter last cleaned?
