Hi all normally a down fall of a owners club doesn't bother me that much but
West Midlands imprezas charity owners club (WMI as it was beter known) has just mad a official announcement that there club have just ended there very last met. Completely gutted to hear this there members did a massive amount for there club and charity over the last 4 ½ years and had some massive meets normally 100+ members turning up.
Wmi had very high standards and massive pride about there cause so plz if any one who has wmi as a friend on Facebook and you have the time plz go ay bye as there group closes down in a few days. Max respect to wmi

Hope the admin dont mind this post

Not at all mate, no problem with posting that. Such a shame to hear but harsh realities come about. Folks don't have the time or the money they used to and people have to make choices. Cars like ours are a luxury and supporting and investing in a group like this takes time and effort also. Groups often have a very small core membership and once that starts to wane its the beginning off the end. Therefore it's hats off to Jonny Gav who kicked all this off and still shoulders a hell of a lot of the responsibility, whatever else he may have on his plate. So sorry to hear about the other group but perhaps not so much of a shock.

Yeah a great shame H was a really decent bloke and was dedicated to subarus

But sometimes people have to move in life onto different projects

Good to see NESF going strong I was at the first north east meetings with johny Gav some 13 years ago
