A shitter!  Laughing  Sorry! seriously you're looking at a classic WRX, there is plenty for sale, take your time don't be afraid to travel and you will find a nice one. Stay clear of cars with plenty of modifications and no proof of a remap. Garage service history obviously is nice but most people with cars that age service them themselves so speak with the owner if he seems sound and not full of bs i wouldn't personally be put off by a lack of garage service history. Check the rear arches, somebody correct me if im wrong but i think they are double skinned and can be expensive to repair if its set in,also Reg check it for insurance claims mileage etc!

Then enjoy!

 Lucky!

Ive no proof of a remap and its been done twice scratch

You could always take the code from the ECU and ask who it was mapped by then contact them

Surely mappers like Bob can give you a receipt? If no receipt they will have a record of cars they mapped and would be able to confirm it by email? Otherwise anyone could b.s a buyer.

You should keep receipts for everything, it helps when selling and also you can add them up and dream about what you could of bought with all that cash!  Head in hands

I got a letter of authenticity and a BHP/TORQUE print out from Andy Forrest when I bought my car and a load of receipts, and like already said above, the top mappers Andy F, Bob R etc will have records for future work, you can ring/email them and quote a reg number and they can confirm or deny.
