| No maf mate its speed density, yeah deffo restriction somewhere, i think i might look into the intercooler side of things, mishimoto seem to make good products and there intercooler cores are fairly cheap so may invest before my next mapping sesh | |

I'd try a different fmic and alcatek ECU if you don't already have one fitted

| Locky's std ecu isn't capable of being mapped to his cars full potential and has been told to source a simtek/alcatek by bob rawle
that could be your problem but then again should your mapper not be able to identify issues like this??????

You running after market boost controler ? Apexi ect
If stand ecu can run 1.8 bar why do people put up rated ecu in newages ?
My scooby getting map soon to 1.7 bar and I running stand ecu but stand ecu can only read 1.5.5 so how ??

| Hi, yes standard ecu running carberry rom, i have 4bar map sensor, boost controller is just via ecu, solenoid is turbosmart 3port. Only ecutec cant go past 1.5bar i think.
I wasnt aware of any parameters that cant be changed on a standard newage ecu with carberry that can be on an aftermarket ecu?

| The standard ecu can only read 1.7 bara with most software but carberry rom allows the mapper to calibrate a map sensor up to 4bar acording to andy carr's website.
Who's you mapper gary? | |

My car is a massive knob Love this Hope you get it sorted soon pal. As said above it could well be down the the intercooler but I have known the japspeed ones to break the 500 barrier. It could also be down to the open source mapping software.. And once again Gary has completely failed to make any sense whatsofuckingever. . That's why we all love Gary
