Squeaky brakes

Hi, had new discs n pads fitted bout month ago, prob done under 500 miles and front brakes are squealing like stuck little piggies, worse at slow speeds, is there owt I can do to eliminate this?
I rarely boot the car, but I've give it some beans over couple days to bed em in n warm m up to no avail?
Any tricks of the trade, sprays/lubes/cleaners etc

What type of discs and pads you put in?

no shims in them would have the same effect

Padgid pads I think, dunno bout discs, AK fitted them

Are all of them squeeking? Could be a stone between disc and pad

I've had Pagids in mine before and not a beep, but the mrs just had pads fitted to her Honda and got the stuck pig effect. Scoobycarl actually said I need to whip the pads out and grind the edges down a bit as they will be the culprit. Don't know if applies to yours though, just a suggestion.

Aye, some one else has suggested that KGT, maybe a slightly chamfered edge might do the trick, cheers.

Mine do exactly the same, at low speeds, does my fecking nut in!

AK's had a look a few times and cant find anything!

By brembos squeal like fook in reverse only but I put that down to cheap as discs n pads.

Not to worry though cos the car in coming off the road end of the month to start the 6_12 month overhaul

I'm getting the combined affect of a woman moaning like fook about squeaky brakes while she's braking and squeaking

Mine squeal like out when I'm coming to a slow stop but I found a way around it.. I just hoy the full anchors on at the very last second lol you could always try giving the disc a blast of wd40 or just rub a bit of grease around it.. Might not stop the car but it'll stop the squeaking

I know someone who actually did that on their downhill mountain bike when their new Hope mini discs were squealing.......I can still see his face now as he whistled passed me on the first descent in Hamsterley, screaming like a 4yr old girl.

put anti squeak grease on back of pads or copper grease will stop it
