Convoy to Summer Madness

To everyone who is going on the club stand convoy details are as follows:-

Durham Services for the guys up north - around 9ish
Newton Aycliffe McDonalds
Need a meeting point in South Darlington as we all have to go in together - any suggestions.

Then to croft, exact times will be posted later as I need to check with the organisers this week on what time they want us there.

yes mate I know, but if every club gets there for 10am its going to be a car park.

I have contacted Jamie from Summer Madness today and we can get there anytime after 9am. The people who are going on the stand, what time do you want to get there, remember this thing doesn't start until 12 noon so it will be a long day if we get there early.

We all need to go in together so we must meet up before hand. I was thinking of meeting in Darlo at the McDonalds near the football ground.

Whats peoples thoughts.

I would say meet at the McDonalds off junction 59, then we only need to go down 1 junction to 58 and turn off through favour dale towards croft say leave there around 9

That's fine by me but the people from Teesside are going to have to come up to aycliffe then back through darlo again, that's why I thought of the place I came up with.

The McDonalds near morrisions is a good shout iddy and easy to get to croft easy from there the convoy will need to be very careful choseing a route there as Darlington town centre is a mess of road works

I thought people from teeside could just come down past winyard and join A1 at junction 60 then come off at 59 to meet at that McDonalds but see what everyone wants to do

Andy, if you don't meet up with me somewhere you'll not get on the club stand as I have the club pass and we need to go in together. Not my rules.

Iddy where are we meeting mate? There are convoys leaving the valley......a690 shell all summer madness arranged .....so there is going to be a volume of cars on the roads no doubt.....I just want to beat that lot and get to you guys??? Cheers

Final Convoy Details

Durham Service 8.45am for leaving at 9am prompt.

Down to A167 at Aycliffe Junction 59 - Anyone meeting here can you be on the bridge for 9.10am
Then through Darlington past White Horse Pub and Left at the Roundabout down to the A66.
Meet at Morton Park Mcdonalds at 9.25 leaving at 9.35am prompt.
Then down to Croft for 9.50am or there abouts.

Anyone who is not meeting at these meeting points can you be near the croft entrance and join the convoy. If your not in the convoy you might not be able to join the club stand.

CLUB STANDS

Okely dokely folks, for anyone on a club stand here's what happens. Once your stand organiser has gotten all your names & reg's to me (a couple already done), I'll be resending them a new invoice all amended with your names and reg numbers- this big invoice is now your Stand entry ticket and the stand organiser will be giving you a copy of it you can show on the gate. The SM Staff on the gate have the same list and they'll be checking you off as you come through so it's all nice and simple.

If you had other stuff like track time or spectator tickets for passengers booked on your original order you will need that as well for the other tickets you've booked.

It's done and nice & quick like this as there's over 300 stand cars that need to be through the gates before spectators arrive (not including early arriving track cars!). All you need is a screen grab of your order and that's it- everything is sorted by order numbers for quick reference

I will see ya on Aycliffe bridge 9.10, if anyone else wants to be there. :-)
