| 2.0L, black sti interior and seperate rear fog light all imply its a JDM STI. Hoping the bootlid sticker is an aftermarket addition and its not an RA / RA-R | |

| Think you are right mate, plus that OEM vent is a bit of a give away as not that many people hack into the roof. going to be some tears somewhere | |

| How can you say it's a Spec C? Because f the interior? I'm not sure what the differences are, so that you can tell.
However, Cat D???? How, that has to have Chassis Damage, it even looks twisted. Nice buy for salvage though at that price

Nice buy for salvage though at that price Spec C had stuff you wont be able to see in the pics like lightened glass, ali boot lid, thinner roof etc, but the rear light hanging off the back often points to import and stuff like the roof vents and the calmed down interior has been used before on special editions. Sure that engine bay loks different too, but I'm not sure what. Either way I wouldnt like my car to go that shape whatever it is (or isnt)

| Oh aye, wouldn't want my car to end up that shape that's for sure, just wondering how you could tell if it was a Spec C, to me, just looks like a JDM STi with WR1 or similar interior. | |

| Circled what I can see is different, just not sure if this is standard on JMD Stuff. Titanium Strut Brace No Valve in front of intake Steel Header Tank (Plastic on my Blobeye) No water tank for washers (it's at the front of the car) | |

| It'll be interesting to see what it goes for considering the payout was almost £15k. Can't see there being a huge market for selling something like that on due to it being a write off. | |

| yes, jdm sti 2002-2007 including spec c used UJ pressure cast pistons in the 2ltr twinscroll, and suffer the same ringland failure at around 350+bhp, these are the same type of piston fitted to 2.5 motors jdm sti pre 2002 (single scroll) used forged pistons , the same as what uk 2ltr sti 00-05 has | |
