I am going to change my 17" wheels to 18" what tyres do i need it's a 99 forester STB type-A
it has 215 X 55 X 17 on now.

Any help much apreciated

Hi Dave,
I normally use this tyre size conversion chart: http://www.kouki.co.uk/utilities/visual-tyre-size-calculator

So going from that if you keep 215's they need to be 45 profile with 18's on etc.
You may need spacers on the rear for wider than 225's though.
