PostSubject: More Forester Upgrades On The Way.   More Forester Upgrades On The Way. EmptySat 11 Jun - 8:24

Well seeing as I have got all of my brakes and suspension finally sorted it's onward and upwards with the power mods.

Made 238 bhp & 270 lbft at Motoscope last October as a totally standard car with a K&N - should be really easy to beat that this October.

Just picked up a Hayward & Scott 3" Decat Downpipe and Centre section to add to my 3" HKS Hi-Power backbox, going to fit the H&S kit next Thursday.

Hawkeye topmount on the way.

Done since October HDI SBC-D-SE Adjustable Electronic Boost Controller.
RB5 Ported Y-Pipe with Prodrive Silicone Hoses.

Still on the lookout for the following when funds allow (READ: when the Mrs lets me spend more):
3 bar map sensor,
Zero Sports Intake Hard Pipe,
Autobahn88 Intake to Turbo Silicone Pipe,
STi Red Inlet Manifold,
Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump,
Finn's Ported Headers,
Upgraded Injectors,
Plus whatever Else I Can Get Away With Twisted Evil

Sticking with the TD04 at the minute due to the drivability of it, well her indoors uses the Foz for the school/shopping run every day.

Just wish that the car was mappable without spending £1000 on stand alone setup - Only way forward with the 98 Auto Foz Crying or Very sad

Alright Drew,
The Foz is a 98 with centre mounted coil pack.
I thought that the manifold was different or ported or something like that - If it's just painted then I may as well paint/coat my own one.

Anyone any ideas?

Had some spare time this afternoon so thought why not get the car into the garage - remove the complete exhaust system and fit the new H&S 3" decat downpipe and 3" centre section. HKS Hi-Power backbox already on with 3" inlet so all matched up perfectly.

Took the car out for a run and what the flip - amazing difference - spool up is so much better and quicker, noise is much more throaty with loads of pops and bangs.

Just had to put the HKS bung in the backbox as the Mrs will never put up with that on the school run.

Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Going to have so much fun with this now. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil
