| Been busy over the last few days trying to keep my head together after loosing my best Mate & biggest part of the family on Monday/Tuesday (Codie, Alaskan Malamute) Here's a few pics of what I've accomplished, Intercooler flipped & pipework shortened [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

| Twin pump setup, 1brand new 450, the other a std pump which I just used to mock up, all fitted this afternoon, twin 450's shud be good to run anything upto about 1000 hp lol [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |

| This myt b a daft question but at what point will u need to up the fuel pipe size? Am I right in saying that by adding another pump will it will b able to maintain fuel pressure under greater load but won't increase fuel volume cause the pipe can only carry the same volume of fuel ??? I myt b talking total shit here but when I'm fitting boilers some times you've got to increase the gas pipe size as the boiler needs more volume of gas not just pressure dunno if its the same sort of theory lol Looking good tho drew a lot of work and money has gone in to this now | |

| Yes n yes Trev, I'm dropping pressure above 7000/7500rpm at 2.2bar on a single 450, so twin pumps shud sort it. The ecu is capable of running twin pumps separate, 1 pump will graft till a set rpm/boost setting then the pump 2 will kick in & increase it above set rpm/boost level. I might have to increase the pipe diameter (from 8mm to 10mm od) but thought I'd try it first on original pipework | |

| Really sorry to hear about the dog mate, gutted for you. For pump setup, think what you are doing will work no problem and the bore side shouldn't need changing as long as the holes in the injectors are smaller than the 8mm pipe , the issue is fuel flow and the extra pump will deal with flowing more fuel in turn holding the pressure up. The other way to do it would be to run 2 separate fuel setups for each side of the engine, you would need to run extra lines and an extra FPR but you would effectively be running 2 injectors per pump. | |
