| Well I think iv made the most expesive mistake ever , when my engine packed in last month I decided to desticker me car , as I removed them I noticed loads of scratches , age related marks , which the stickers where hidding , got to the last side passanger and removed the big swooshes and in the process pulled all the paint off the doors and it looks really bad ,no amount of tcut or polish will remove them so option one resticker the whole car -- around 100 pound all in ,Maybe cussco or ken block style stickers , don't want the rally stickers again
Option two -- rattle can the whole car matt black
Option three -- wish there was an option 3 lol as I canot afford a respray cheapest one I got quoted was around 400 for a basic blow over no door shuts or under bonnet etc
The cars green at the minute if I cud aford the respray it wud be White or the colour of the jolly green monsters car looks a bit like lime green
does anyone have any pics of home sprayjobs any colour just to have a look at please , as il be doing one of the above after the wedding in June cheers

| Its satin black too mattes alot easier. If you not handy with painting i wouldnt advise it either ive been mucking on with odd jobs using cans for over 5 year maily painting my crossers and sports bikes in the past much better with a compressor i just gave it a quick paint to see what it looked like and it was ment to be a cheap fun car as paid 150 quid for it damaged. Ended up putting extra grand into it now onto spending a couple k doing the project pmsl scooby bug defo got me.
On subject paint was halfords satin black cost 11big cans £65 via a trade card days work sanding laquer off old paint day to spray it. If i was to do it again ide use a compressor as the roof and bonnet is too much to cover and have it perfect

| downfalls with cans
pissy thin paint not petrol resistant
petrol resistant laquer is available, but pointless spraying it satin black

| Looks OK IMO Not the best like but ya cant complain if you compare the price of a professional re-spray compared to a DIY spray can jobby! | |

| only wiped off once, sprayed loads of bikes, made the mistake of wiping off once, took the paint off with it, petrol laquered tanks after that | |
