Hello mate,

NESFs recommended mappers are Andy Forrest, Andrew Carr, Bob Rawle and Duncan Graham (RaceDynamix). Best bet is to stick with one of those lads for a safe bespoke map to suit your car and mods.

Sure someone will be along shortly with a less 'corporate' reply Wink as there have been some less than favorable reports about Eclipse on here......

If you look into the remap business there are the countries best that the lads on here use and its worth every penny to hold out and get in on 1 of the remap sessions that oftern happen in the northeast.........

Andy Forrest
Bob rawle
Andrew Carr
Race dynamix.........they all respected mappers here at Nesf! Hope that helps you make your mind up fella ;0)

I ran a chipped ecu from eclipse it wasnt good ran lumpy wen cold abd when i removed boost controller to allow ecu to run it like the chip should it was all over hittin 18-20 psi with a fuel cut kicking in at random times. Boost was all over nd it just ran like shite. Fitted a polar performance chipped ecu and it was fine.

Hes been ok with me parts wise if ive needed anything but i wudnt have them

One example - https://nesf.forumotion.co.uk/t9543-de-eclipseing-lee-s-hawkeye

If you want local and soon, Duncan @ RaceDynamix is mapping in Chester-le-Street and Durham 1/2/3 June - I've used him loads with great results.

https://nesf.forumotion.co.uk/t10523-racedynamix-mapping-day-in-chester-le-street-durham-1-2-3-june

And Bob Rawle up on the 21st June.

I don't think eclipse do live mapping mate they download the file from your ecu then send it away to the mapper who tweaks and changes it the sends it Back and they upload it back onto your ecu. So it's not gonna be specific to your car and these this are a fukin pain in the arse to get rite!!

Get it live mapped by one of the above mappers fella, every car is different so flashing the ecu with another cars file is not gonna do your car any good and if it goes bang it's not gonna be cheap!! Shocked

Yes very wise. If your new to tuning its going to be very tempting when you see cheaper easier options however always worth a check on here as could save you a very exspensive engine rebuild mate . Always good honest advise here plus a few good subaru mechanics we all trust with our cars
