Bigclarky/EJ22GAV+Andrew Carr/Dastek Dyno = BOOST!!!!!!

Well we should see some awesome result finally confirmed on Saturday when myself and Gavs motors are gettin done on the roller at Andrew Carr's place, I'm like a big kid once again and very excited to see what this turbo can do (running 1.8bar) with the fmic fitted, no predictions this time it does what it does! and hopefully I wont see what one of my rods looks like! Lol
Very eager to see what the v9 does with full supporting mods now to compliment the MD321H!!! Gonna be a very quick ride home! Lol

Out of interest, where's Andy Carr based?

Preston, Lancs from memory, but is over here regularly enough and does work for ASP from time to time. Andy will support club sessions if enough interest - we talked about basing one at Finns a little while back, but it never came off for one reason or another.

Aye keep us updated. I was speaking to Gav last week and he was looking forward to the mapping session.

md321h is a really good choice of turbo for a nice driving car

Av got a 321h on mine. They are expensive but you get what you pay for and they make the power they are supposed to

It's making power now cairns just the lad that owned the car previously didn't update the injectors as we've just finished doing about 10 mins ago in the street lol

Although mine lost a 100bhp and made less than the 13 year old vf28 according to motorscope's rollers.
Also I think my car would do better with a fmic fitted

Done that so mine so you'll see what figures you should of had, think mine made 365 on motorscopes roller, so let's see what it does with the fmic on and on a set of roller with a mapper

Well after doing some tweaking to the Autronic on the rollers the cars had the boost turned down and making 405.1bhp @ 1.4 bar am happy enough with that on a stock engine, stay tuned for updates on Gav lol road my first for him then onto the rollers

What happened to the 1.8 bar of boost you were going for

No good on the 2.0 engine as we've just found out it come onto boost to late, it running more efficient power at lower boost and I'm keeping it safe

Keeping it safe and enjoying the car is defo a good move clarky just leave room for you to improve on if wanted ;0) 400 is still naughty and better once running right ;0) glad your happy fella

Ah the fuelling and everything is absolutely spot on locky, pulls like a steam train and it's within it's limits so am happy, only down side is I've caught the pipe work for the fmic coming off the dyno and damaged it, don't think it's split it but quite badly scuffed, don't think I'll be attending the nbo as blown me fuel budget for the weekend today but at least the cars sound

Just to clarify, car made 278 @ 1.2bar, 394 at 1.3bar, 403/404 at 1.4 and 405 at 1.5bar so was pretty clear where the sweet spot was.

Only changes I made from the road map (pre-FMIC) were a slight leaning out in the midrange and richening up above 5500 along with another 1-1.5degrees of timing at the topend which helped to just hang on to the power a little longer from 6500-7000RPM.

Graphs are very smooth which can be felt on the road where the car feels nice and crisp.

I'd still like to know exactly what the turbo is
