PostSubject: eclipse exhaust   eclipse exhaust EmptyThu 28 Jun - 22:10

has anyone had any experience with these?

been looking at a full 3" turbo back system for my 05 blob WRX, eclipse says they would do their system for £300 (not fitted) which seemed cheap to me, is it a case of get what you pay for with that system?

if anyone has one fitted, how is it? what kind of noise level is it putting out (relative to a standard exhaust with PPP back box)

thanks, mike

Go to revolution m8 eclipse ain't the best, could be wrong but Mitchsti has or had a full toyosport system which is virtually brand new in the for sale section

I've got a Toyo Sport 3" fitted by eclipse and it's fine - no problems at all here.

looked at revolution too, but their full system is a fair bit more, just wondered if there was a reason for it

thanks, mike

What I just said was what I had fitted at Eclipse.

People aren't complaining about that side of Eclipse to be fair and it is mostly the mapping they aren't happy with.

yeah i'm definitely interested in Mitchsti's, just hope its suitably noisier than the standard setup (with all cats) and the PPP back box, after something with a nice audible burble.

Even with a decat downpipe you can notice mate i hade a decat downpipe standard centre and a slightly bigger backbox on my classic and that was loud enough to have to turn the radio quite high to shut it out
