A little more detail may be helpfull mate Does it just stop at 6 thou revs and go no more in every gear Does it just stop dead abruptly at 6k Boost drops when you hit 6 k
Mine used to back off at 5k was down to a boost leak on mine Mates facelift had similar problems i think and his was his intake pipe from eclipse was calapsing under boost but the andy f i think it was cut it down and its now fine

I think it's holding boost it's in every gear more noticeable in 5th it goes like a rocket then it just dies off I'll do a smoke test at work next week to check for leak but I had a leak on my McRae and this feels different but I have a front mount on this one got new coil packs yesterday grrrr I'm mangling my brain tryin to figure it out

Yeah agreed 5th is a utter useless gear lol would the front mount not be playing a part in this drew as a few have advised me against them even in my current build a large top mount is going to be better

160s a tall order for a somewhat standard td05 and injectors with a chip mate sumit not calibrated with them clocks bud lol. Be nice if the clocks are true. Mine where 5mph out at 125 and i assume the gap would be bigger higher up

Could be a faulty speedo cable/bodged kpm to mph conversion.
Probably wrong but worth getting it checked out somehow

Its a good chip as it was from mine but even in my car its ran 1.1 bar of boost with a td05 and hit 150 on clocks but mates showed 140 and that was flat out strangling the life out them with a uk box when i fitted my jdm box that dropped abit like lol
