| When I take my foot off the pedal the car feels like its decelarating harder than it should do (like the brakes are stuck on). Had the brakes checked but nothing and to be honest if its out of gear it free wheels fine so any ideas? Car has been de-catted but felt the same before anyway and has no other mods. | |

| Does it have a standard flywheel? You can get the feeling of hard deceleration from having a very light flywheel fitted. | |

| sounds like could possibly be something up with transmission, its the only explanation i can think of, check that the code on your gearbox matches the chasis tag, the only way to check ratio of diff is to strip it, just thinkin poss at some time someones changed box or rear diff | |

| Will do andy- but another silly question, could oil (engine,g/box/transmission) have any sort of effect if its old because ive went through the service history and not sure now when any of these done, previous owner said just before i bought it the engine oil was changed but no reciept and the others ive got nothing for? | |

That is exactly what I was thinking, diff/gearbox mismatch | |
