insurance renewal wow

Just received my renewal quote today you won't believe how much its dropped...
£550 cheaper than last year I'm buzzing can pay that straight off no probs : )

how much was it last yr and with how many yrs no claims / fully comp?

just curious about comparisons

I was the same , mine dropped over £400 this year. From £1k to £550?
Unsure why. Still had full no claims and went from 31 to 32? Can't understand

It was just over a grand last year. I now have 8 years ncb an increase in power from 265 to 400bhp and its 3rd party. That's with performance direct. I'm going to give moley and a plan a ring tomorrow to test my luck..

The insurance companies must be starting to relies that teesside ain't such a bad place after all lol..

Ya can't ban me from NESF am not goin back to TTS ever again its boring.. And there's nowt wrong with 3rd party insurance it stops you getting points on your licence and that's all I'm bothered about lol..

Third party is risky, we found that out the hard way - had a cheapy car and just insured it 3rd party - an idiot in Asda car park backed into us and at the time admitted she couldn't see over the spare wheel on her 4x4!

She gets home her boyfriend rings up - said it was us backed into her (we were stationary) and he was claiming knock for knock (there was no damage on his car just ours but he was claiming there was) - we didn't have the legal back up of our insurance company and they wouldn't get involved at all.

We eventually did get it sorted out but it was a massive headache and never again!

How does 3rd party stop you getting points on your licence

Try sky insurance and if your a Scoobynet member there is even more discount......9yrs NBC fully comp all mods declared 450bhp...like for like parts upto £8000.......I payed £600......but as soon as I told them my quotes from Keith michaels and green light they said if we can beat them quotes today will you come with us!!! Can't complain they were £50 less than the nearest quote....

Nic, you can get legal cover with both fully comp and 3rd party.

I know you can .. I'm saying we didn't have it thrrrrppppppp

I got two quotes today, both fully comp all mods declared A plan came in at £780 and sky quoted £730 (without discount for being a scooby net member cos im not one)

This is the response i had from Keith Michaels on Tuesday "If you could ring the main office number and ask for somebody in Gary's team as he is off this week. Alternatively he is back in on Monday if you would prefer to speak to him"

He is a hard man to get a hold of !

Yes that's the same message I got... My insurance runs out Sunday so I just Hung up..
