Engine Bay...almost done Empty
PostSubject: Engine Bay...almost done   Engine Bay...almost done EmptyWed 3 Oct - 22:31

Just a wee before & after photo of the latest and hopefully some of the last upgrades to my engine bay. I have a couple of other ideas in mind, but I think I will concentrate elsewhere for now (Suspension)

Huge improvement and looks great. Can I ask how much it all cost?

Oil filler cap from USA on eBay - this is the one and the good seller:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-STI-Red-Oil-Filler-cap-WRX-GC8-GDF-GDB-Impreza-/120909516953?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c26c4d099

but avoid US seller called Cuztom_Tuning as he screwed me for the money and told me he had posted it twice and then said he would refund me, used a bit more delaying tactics and then let the 45 day period go by and stopped answering emails and refund never got given. Ebay & Paypal refused to do anything since 45 day period had passed. From his feedback he still seems to do this.

Alternator cover is real carbon fibre coated - not dipped. £80 from Scoobyparts. The air intake snorkel is carbon dipped (£65 posted back from Wicked Coatings)

Cheers buddy

Of course you can ask mate - even though I am sh*t scared to count it up, but here goes:

Samco Silicone Hose Kits:
Ancillary - 13 Hoses: £169
Turbo - 3 Hoses: £80
Coolant - 2 Hoses: £89
Air Box - 1 Hose: £62
Induction - 1 Hose: £215
Carbon Pulley cover: £80
Carbon dipped Air Intake Snorkel: £65
Ultra-Racing Strut Brace: £70
Alloy Battery Clamp - £30
CDF Racing Gloss Black Alloy pulley Kit: £170
Badass Chrome mirror fuse relay cover: £44
Badass Chrome mirror Strut Covers: £25
Red plastic conduit: £10

Lots of elbow grease to clean the bugger and the labour charges for Andy Kindon to fit the Samco Hoses and the pulleys - The above parts come to £1,109 ......and I am sure there will be a few bits I have missed!

No Martin - I have family over from Cyprus staying with us at the moment and I couldn't get away as they are only here for a few days. I wanted to go but chose instead to keep the peace!

Thanks for the heads up. There's so many dodgy sellers on eBay.
