| just removed the drivers side heat shield off the exhaust after months of annoying rattling,1hr later and plenty of swearwords (not easy without removing the bit of exhaust).had to remove the top part aswell.it wont cause any damage now will it,due to the heat ? would it be worth wrapping the short section the shield came off ?  | |

| It will be fine mate, you will find most impreza's of that age have had the heat shields removed for that very reason  | |
