Subject: New (ish) member checking in with his new Scooby! Fri 30 Nov - 23:18
Right lads and lasses....I signed up on here a while ago but haven't been commenting much as all my time was spent car hunting! After 18 months of looking.... missing out on on a couple and walking away from a couple.....I eventually found 'The One'
Here's my baby before I waffle any more.......
My favourite shot of the car so far........
When I started looking I'll admit that I said I wouldn't buy a 'silver one' but this excelled in all the other boxes so would have been a fool to miss out on it. Since owning it I think the colour is spot on and I wouldn't swap it for any thing else!
The car is immaculate... but then its only got 18,343 miles on the clock
No plans with the car just keeping it uber clean over the winter.. that said it'll probably spend most of the winter garaged any way!
Looking forward to spending more time mooching around the forum and chatting on!

Yer, it's summit I wanted after seeing it on a car somewhere but this one was already done, so was a bonus!
It's sprayed with rubberized paint stuff. Hazard light has been changed to JDM red one and heater dials etc have black prints on from the USA! I think it makes a huge difference to the interior.

I'll not get sick of it...
It's just like a coat of spray paint but the finish is rubbery to the touch. So it'll not mark as easy... it's an inexpensive job but looks very 'faffy'!

true but when warm it can peel off after a while if it's not sprayed correct

Thanks for the comment peeps..
Forgot to mention in my first post, I'm interested in getting the car on the rolling road to see it's output. It's been set up by the previous owner but has no print outs. Although what ever it produces will be what it stays at, I have no plans to change anything under the bonnet or even to do with the handling.
Gonna have to lift my drive and raise it....as the front splitter only clears the garage by 2mm.. Very scary when taking it out for a drive! At the minute I just wanna take it out all the time! I'll get a photo of the clearance..cringe worthy!

Very nice car!! Deffo a good choice and best colour
Love the black plastics on the dash - the black heater controls are a fortune. If you ever want to put them back to silver I'll buy them off you

The black heater controls are silver, the chap I bought the car off found a site in the US that make exact sticker sets. He got the black set from there. You can't tell that they are stickers thou. If I get a second I'll look throu the pile of receipts and see if I can find out where he got them from..
Need to spend some time with the PSI Data Monitor like and try to figure it out!
