Cheers everyone Locky - have to wait and see what the reaction to this years is first before I commit mate!
Starting to get into taking photos a bit, know nowt about it but If you take enough shots some of them are bound to look canny. If anyones got any advice I'm more than willing to learn!
Took these a couple of months ago at the end of me street with our lasses Cannon. Non of them are edited, hit lucky with a cracking sunset!
Fook knows who's the cat is
Anyway, sorry for boring you's, I'm getting old....... I used to be young, fit and interesting but killing for a living aged me badly

Dave, I'm also getting into the DSLR stuff and have been merrily snapping away whilst trying to learn about what I'm doing, but dont have that much time to study. Ive actually looked at a few courses local to me that have been recommended. I'm also lucky to have a friend who's a press photographer who I occassionally pester for tips.
Ive used a few of these sites below for basic tutorials, plus theres loads of stuff on You Tube.
Ive used the Nikon site for my camera and like the Cannon one they are nicely tailored to your own unit.
