Hks boost control playing up

Got hks boost control but if I set on say on 8psi boost past it and alarm bell sould and boost goes of if you put your foot straight to the floor boost flys up then keeps going till Alam beep then go of will not hold boost and will not stop were uou set it at
Any help please
