| Bloody hell, blasts from the past there, sure the moty turbos were 150 bhp ish standard but a hell of a lot more with a boost lift, engines were soft as shite though. The mazda turbos ranged from around 150 up to 210 depending on year and modle as far as I am aware, Chris C on here had one many moons ago, was rapid in its day! The most unusual sleeper I have ever had was a renault 11 turbo- Went like stink 120bhp (5 gt turbo engine) standard but I had it up to 173bhp | |

| There's a Austin Montego driving around Gateshead and the owner obviously has a sense of humour.
He's turned the M upside down and got rid of the e. Edning up with....
Austin Wont go. Class! | |

| Definitely a blast from the past! As jonny says I had a 323 4x4 turbo (am impressed with the memory jonny!) nearly 15 years ago! It had a hybrid turbo and was running 244bhp at 1.1 bar! Pretty good at the time up from about 150 standard. The biggest problem with them were chocolate gearboxes as I found out took some finding a replacement then with no Internet! Was one hell of a sleeper though in black as a nice new Aston Martin found out at the time | |

| My first car was a Peugeot 405 1.9 GRx4, it was a proper sleeper as the choke was jammed open. Used to be like a rocket ship and done about 8mpg on average. Great car for a 15 year old to practice in that's right, 15, used to play with it on Otterburn range. The spoiler was flaking so I took it off and painted it black (red car), looked awesome. Only thing is, when I out it back on, I put it the wrong way round so instead of it acting like a spoiler (downforce) it acted like a wing (lots of lift) as my mate found out when he bought it off me. Fast corner + light back end = upside down 405. | |
