Subject: My legacy (pictures of engine damage) Sun 13 Jan - 18:14
Well I made a start on removing the engine today to sort out the low compression problem. Everything is disconnected ready to lift the motor out in the morning . A good bit of progress achived

Damage to valves and piston
Their is bits missing from the valves so will more than likely have fucked the piston

pics dont show any valve bits missing ????
will be ringland damage what caused your problems.
you need too remove pistons too show ringlands ..

Ok 1 of em is a bit damaged like . Think it would still be a fortune to fix

I'm no expert but he valve on no4 cyl exhaust valve shows signs of damage to me. Probs not sealing correctly now, hence low compresion.

doooh a didnt see them dents in valves, kempy borrowed me compression tester, a carnt recall what cylinder he said had no compression now.
