I can see I'm going to have lots of fun cleaning these bloody wheels

Ok so I have done approx 60 miles since my alloys were fitted and they are totaly filthy already. Took the car to the local morrisons jet wash and spent a whole 5 mins jetwash time just on the wheels. Guess what it hasn't bloody touched em. I knew what I was in for bit didn't think it would be this bad

Maybe I should of give them a good rimwaxing while the weather was half decent.
Looks like I'm going outside in the rain to clean them properly and give them a good bloody rimwaxing now then

Will sort you out some road film cleaner, just spray on and jet wash off, it's mint. I use it on the scooby all over then put a quid in to rinse it, I am probably the tightest mam alive though.

And Byers I must add they still look better white and filthy than black or any other colour

I am almost sure the stuff i use is the same stuff they put in the jet washer at petrol stations, it's just they prob mix theirs weaker than you should.

Yeah white wheels are great, dont think rimwax will help either cos it won't

I backed off getting white alloys at the last minute for exactly this reason and yes you've got to be careful what you clean them with after you've spent that kind of money and warranty is involved.

Revolution sold me some rimming gear when I got the Torques, I said I didn't know what to do with it, i think they said to use a vigorous finger action and keep your hand in......or something along those lines.

I've also got Rota wheels in white, when I bought them brand new I gave them a good coat all round with rim wax, within the 1at couple of days they were filthy, and still took ages to clean by hand, they are about 10 months old now and have been cleaned regularly and had rim wax applied a few times but are still marked in places, white does look but is a nightmare to keep clean.

They cleaned off with one of the mother In laws tea towels extremely easy. I rim waxed one then give up cos it's lashing it down. If I spend ten mins a day cleaning them I should be able to keep em in good nick.. I left the inner rims might get them bits painted black

nice looking wheels natski you gonna be a busy bee cleaning them 3times a week

I might need to buy some knee pads lol

White wheels are a nightmare to keep clean trust me!

You'll be glad you didn't drive my way to work yesterday then. Tractors and wagons turned the road into field for about 6 miles, I couldn't see out the side windows or any reflection in wing mirrors, spent £4 and 10 mins jet washing the car down and it was still filthy. Utter fuggin joke.
