Thanks very much lads, your kind words of support are very much appreciated. The list is what I expected....long! It is exactly 1 mile from my front door to the end of the street, so if each of you could drive to the end and back once a week each that should keep her ticking over and the neighbours unhappy! Awesome! Unfortunately Baldy they are leaving the existing brain in , but good news is they will be putting a matching second brain in there.......so I should be twice as stupid when I get out Hopefully I will be recoverd in time for the NBO to drive myself and if I can't drive there myself I will be enlisting the driving skills of a fellow NESF member to drive me there in the Terminator. Peace out everyone

Thanks for all the kind compliments and abuse - I loved them all! I am back out of hospital at home and still high as a kite from the anaesthetic and drugged up to the eyeballs with painkillers...and it feels awesome There is good news & bad news. The good news is that I will be able to attend the NBO and I will be able to drive my own Terminator... Booyakasha- which is probably bad news for Sid, as I had asked him to drive my car if I was unable to drive. The bad news for me is that when they opened me up the damage in my knee and thigh bone was so bad that I am going to need to have the knee replaced and the procedure they were going to do today would have been a complete waste of time and would make things worse. So they got the Dremel out and done a little bit of detailing to try and clean it up a bit and flushed out all the broken bits, etc The consultant gave me a laugh when he said, "Unfortunately all I can compare it to is an old car Mario, a car that has been rusting away and is disintegrating and falling apart and there is nothing we can salvage" But at least I am alive and i will be able to enjoy driving the Terminator in about 3 weeks instead of the 2 months it was going to be. Peace Brother & Sisters

Aww sorry your news wasn't too good about your knee but they do marvellous things now with knee replacements .. not when they did my dad's both together and he was a 20 stone 6ft man lol. Good news that you are able to drive to the NBO yourself (Sorry Sid .. but you might be back in a scoob by then yourself anyway). Glad it all went ok though and you're home safely
