Rebuilt mine and Mario's Hawkeye's. It's been on some good runs out since the rebuild, and has never missed a beat !
I highly recommend Andy.

As Tizer said mate he built both of our engines at the same time - he's the Jean-Michel Jarre of engine builders....if you are old enough to know who he is!!!! I have done 3,500 miles in mine since the forged build and it hasn't missed a beat and is a rocket now it has been remapped to it's full potential after the run in period and with the modified parts that Andy Kindon also recommended for me. Can't really compliment Andy enough on his knowledge and work ethic.
Good luck with your build mate

Steve I am not 100% what the low boost power/torque figures are but I asked Bob to make it conservative as it is my daily driver so I think it is mapped to 1.4 bar for about 380/400 and the high boost setting I have graphs for is mapped at 1.6 bar for 477/475

yeah thought it might be 1.6 bar, have seen some 2.5's running up to 2 bar but they are mainly pinned blocks or have gallery inserts. Sounds like a quick car bud

To be honest bud I am still getting used to the extra power and it puts a massive grin on my face with all the chatter and noise - so addictive. Obviously not in the same league as your own car but as I said it is my everyday take the kids to school and work car so I didn't want to go too mental! It's enough for me..........for now....but you know how the story goes after that!

If I had my chance again I wouldn't go for daft horsepower. You cant use it on public roads. 400bhp is enough. The one saving grace on my car is that it is drivable, it doesn't have daft cams on it like some of the motors.

Totally agree mate - I was targetting about 430/440 bhp - but I was happy with the result

Totally agree it gets to be a nightmare even on 1 bar of boost & 2-2.1bar is just silly
