just fitted four new tyres, anyways their was a quiet banging/rattle from the back end.yes i now a quiet bang is a contradiction!!! i thought it was just the side walls of the tyres completey buggered. goodyear eagle f1's still with legal tread left and done 38'000!! well done.but its louder now. thought the exhaust was banging. checked all rubber mounts and all where like new and exhaust had no movement whatsever. it sounds like its coming from the top mount rear passenger side, as it rattles/knocks/bangs really fast when i drive slow over a really pitted road (any road in northumberland!!). the car is just coming up to 40 thou.
