| Just got back from Asia and surprise surprise the battery I'd fubar'd. Had Subaru Assist out yesterday (the AA actually) and they condemned it. It's on charge now but it's probably compromised and not a long term option. Should be covered under warranty but I can't get to the garage and need the car all this week, and going away with it next weekend, where it will sit about for 3 days and I can't risk it not starting.
I dropped a note to Kindon last night to check out the Bosch Silver Asia series battery I had on the old car, but thought I'd check if anyone has any particular opinions on other alternatives. This car has a tracker on it and the old one didn't, AK mentioned that these devices munch the batteries.
Any advice appreciated.

| Exide 3yr warranty are good, our Sti is tracker'd n never had a problem, just changed the original battery last month after 7yrs.
Think they're about £65-70 area
