hesitation flat spots lol

As above if you drive it smooth no problem at all but feels like ive got some hesitation and flat spots under heavy load !

Anyone any ideas ? oh yeah i was in like 5th gear at about 120 on one of the ocassions it did this lol !

Have you fitted either/or a cold air induction kit, dump valve or decat without a remap to suit mate?

Get a code reader on it to see if you have any faults stored.

have you changed the plugs recently?

have you changed the fuel filter?

what fuel are you using?

The eng man light didnt flash up or anything when it happend !

Ive only done about 1k since i got it and it was meant to have been serviced

Any more ideas what could cause it (maybe need a remap lol ?)

There all in my garage section mate lmao i told you i had to go and get some bits when i was over at finns

Ok i fitted
1 sti tmic
2 k+n typhoon kit
3 vortex mid section to go with back box
and a bailey dv

k+n typhoon with out a remap is risky to be honest mate, you can mess up the reading from the MAF causing it it run lean.

the hesitation may be the ecu pulling timing or boost to deal with det/ high temps etc...

best stay off the loud pedal until you get it checked with a wide band/ det cans.

if you contact Andy K he will be able to check it out for you, either that or revert back to your standard air box until you get it mapped.

Alright mate sounds like a plan will check a few things out and go back one bit at a time !

Cant afford a remap the now but i don't want to blow me engine either lmao!

Why not put a K&N or Cosworth panel filter in the standard air box.

That's what most of us ar running.

Sure someone would snap up your Typhoon.

PS. Did I see you near Colburn a couple of times this week, Wednesday I was in the Caddy on the Racecourse road and Thursday I was testing Milo's Hawkeye STi after fitting some more trick bits. If not there is another car similar to yours around Colburn.
