Dump valve

Fitted a forge dump valve to my classic t night but it seems quite not much louder than the baileys I took off Any one got one fitted and wot does it sound like

I've got one on my blob there not the loudest but I used to have a hks on my old blob and that sounded unreal but 300 notes it wants to

I had 1 on mine til i blanked it. Sounded pretty good to me. Have you tried opening it and lube the spring up? If you go onto forge website and mail them, they will send you a rebuild kit out for nowt.

Hi I got it off one of the lads on here he's just rebuilt it with new springs don't know it might just be me my baileys would dump all the time even at low speeds it seems this wont dump until u hit 1 bar .Dont know if I should change it back don't fancy doing any damage

Sounds like an air leak on it mate.

Hi mate think its sorted when I got it did nt get the gasket with it looked on eBay not paying £15.80 for one so put an o ring on it .After talking to my mate made one out of 2mm rubber now dumping at 0.2 and sounds different will see wot its like when I pick the wife up later fingers crossed
