| 3 pin or 2 pin? I got 2 pin off Finn for £25. Best check it is that first. Think if car is started unplug battery and the car should still run on the alternator. If it doesnt its knackered. I think its the way to check. | |

| That sounds like a flat battery to me, give it a good charge or take it for a long run to charge it up then try it again, if not it'll need a new battery | |

| Taking the car wont charge the battery. Remove battery and charge it fully that way and then refit.
Go to Halfords or similar and they'll do a battery test for you for free.
I would also do a battery drain and check the alternator output. | |

| John, I have disconnected mine tonight and its seams to be putting charge back in itself, which i am led to believe my battery is ok. You should try it over night, if you have a multi metre check it tonight then again in the morning to see if there is more volts and that should be a good sign if it is goosed or not. That is what i am hoping anyway but then i need to find what the problem is. Hope this helps. Phil | |
