| Before I start, I must apologise for my lack of simple mechanics, apart from trying to keep em clean, am FOOKIN hopeless at anything else to do with cars. Anyway, after removing wheels to tidy up mudflaps, noticed droplinks track rods, poly bushes etc are all original and are lookin bit worn out, rusty etc etc, after pricing, realised some stuff not that expensive, as I intend to keep me baby for few years, thought maybe do bit Pm, Preventative Maintenance, there's no play or rattles at all, would be purely for peace of mind. Are these simple jobs?? Just nuts n bolts etc? Anti roll bar could with refurb as wel, is this an easy fix, sure some one on here removed-refurbed and replaced there's not long ago, don't want to attemp anything to risky, that's AK's job! MOT Friday so not touching nowt yet lol. Any reply grately appreciated. | |

| anti roll bars are easy mate with the back one I would leave it on its wheels rather then jack it up just easier to get drop links off | |

| Nah mate simple as peas. 2 nuts on the droplinks too undo, and then the bolts holding the roll bar clamps I place. A basic tool kit will see you right for them bud. At worst if the drop links are a pain a pair of molegrips/vice grips will help clamp the back end of the droplink too remove. IF you buying new links, then if the nuts are being a pain you could always cut them off.
Are you local ? | |

| The rear one is slightly easier as its just nuts and bolts that should always come off without a fight. | |

| Is yours a widetrack Daz? I have an anti-rollbar from a widetrack sitting in my garage you are welcome to have for nowt if you want and you can get that refurbed and then replace? It's in good nick and came off a widetrack blob with only 46,000 miles on the clock. Just let me know and I will drop it off at AK's for you. |

| If your running standard stuff and plan to keep standard roll bars, maybe worth pricing up poly bushes for roll bars and new standard drop links, then it's all new and tidy. The roll bars are simple enough to clean up and paint. I rubbed my whiteline one done and used Hammerite to give them a refresh, | |
