decat fitted yesterday

my decat arrived yesterday so on my wifes suggestion i decided to have a crack at fitting it as was a little unsure because it was meant for new age and not classic lol fits ok just got to get an extension sleeve on my mid section and it will be 100% perfect,  a few pics to keep you all updated, taken on 2 different cameras in the dark lol

car now sounds quite loud when you put your foot down but not too bad when you keep the revs down lol

It's normally just the back box which need adjusting from a classic to a newage so should have been a straight fit mate

it was a good fit just had to seal up the second lambda hole and get the hangar lined up and it went straight in but its a tight fit lol no problems at all apart from the bolt on the manifold was a C**T to get too as the sensor was in the way on one side and the gearbox on the other lol but it came off after about 2 hours of trying not to take paddy on the car lol

hows your gearbox situation coming along? i noticed you were a bit stressed the other day bud, hope it all works out in the end for you and no offence meant and im not meaning to pry

Hi bud if u get a EFL issue from the Decat japspeed sell sensor extension to sort out the lamba sensor

shouldnt have any probs with sensor as it seems to be a pre cat sensor on mine so hopefully ok and just out of curiousity how much do jap speed charge?

Yeah min is constantly throwing one up coz of my Decat great and useful mod on the sports but bloody annoying

it says you have 2003 sport i think they have 2 sensors on the cat/decat, mines a 98/99 so only 1 sensor on mine, hopefully wont give me any jip lol if it does then the adaptor it is but i'll keep an eye on it, thanks for pointing it out and does your exhaust sound f***ing loud now? as mine sounds like thunder lol got standard manifold at the mo, running stainless 2.25 inch decat onto 2.5 inch stainless cobra sport mid section and backbox (round backbox) with 5 inch exit tip, and an alluminium short ram cold air intake system on the engine aswell, dont get me wrong its sounds nice im just afraid it might annoy the neighbours a little lol however my little boy 16 month likes it, laughs and giggles when i rev it up and seems to fall asleep with no bother, however this car has always been on the louder side and he's never known anything else as it was bought 4 weeks b4 he was born as we needed a new car with 5 doors and this was best of bunch for our budget never let us down though

Mine is stupidly load lol mines running a k&n i57 CAI kit with borla unequal length manifold, cobra sport full Decat 2.25 through to a 5" tip lol massive loud lol
