Venue - Lincolnshire Showground, a 205-acre multi-purpose event facility in the heart of rural Lincolnshire

The Rising Sun Car Show in 2010 is going to be the best yet, more traders, more sponsors, cleaner toliets, more security and much much more WATCH THIS SPACE

Excellent Facilities, Show & Shine, Concours, FREE Weekend Camping Available
Club Stands, Trade Stands, magazines coverage to name but a few.


Arrival for clubs allowed from 2pm Friday (7th May)

Show Times
Gates Open Saturday 9.30am - 5.30pm (For general public)

Show Cars and Traders to be in the event and setup by Saturday no later than 9.30am. Traders are welcome from Friday at 10.30am

Activities

Awards will be Presented on both Saturday and Sunday for the following:-

Show & Shine
Best in Car Entertainment (ICE)
Best Standard
Best Modified Styling
Best Modified Performance
Best in Class
Best Neon Display

To be presented on Sunday
Best of Show, Best Club along with Interclub activities awards.

Advance Day Tickets are £9
Advanced weekend Tickets are £14 per weekend.

Gates Prices
£20 Per weekend Ticket
£10 Day Ticket

Under 14's Free


**The club can get a stand if 10+ people** I know JNE will be there, so if not enough for a stand but still want to show your car, i would ask them before hand if you can be in their stand. I say there are enough people though for a stand

Still debating if im going... but if not... adleast you all know about it. its a really good laugh! last years was fabb!

Just a quick heads up for anyone driving through Lincolnshire, if you are coming A1 / A57 there is a 60mph speed camera after the toll bridge, if you are coming down the A15 there are 2 60mph speed cameras within a mile of each other, beware of mobile units on the M180. If you are approaching the showground from A46/A15 there is a 50 mph camera just before the showground.
The traffic cops are using unmarked cars, beware of dark coloured BMW estates, Silver Skoda VRI`s, and a silver Hawkeye Scooby.

I will be there. I was there last year and it was really good. I got some good pictures, then got sunburnt then got absolutely smashed! lol There were some nice ladies there too I seem to remember, but I was spoken for at the time, shame.

another heads up, spotted at the scene of an accident tonight, Lincs Police using a plain silver Audi A4 with a bodykit on it and a personal number plate WIL ----

I'll be at the NESF day at NE detailing, can't justify the cost of RSCS when I've heard how poor it's been for the last few years, I'd never get Pete out of bed early enough on a Sunday to go anyway

Went to the rising sun today, it pi**ed down all day, only a few stalls, not the best but an alright day I'm glad I only travelled 60 mile's to it and not from home. gonna post some piccies soon, there was a few from JNE

That doesn't sound good at all, I did get told last years was bad but after Scooberuni's post he seemed quite positive, the weather forecast being so poor for tomorrow I am pleased we've got to the open day instead
