| just been in loft in house i been in for last 6 months and i have found a mint if not un used j s sharpe fly fishing rod model scottie 9"6' slit cane inpregnated rod in gen case, after looking on net it seems to be a very sort after make, so do any of you know about fishing or some where i can take to get it looked at/valued ? just found this and sold for 161notes 11 year ago http://www.christies.com/LotFinder/lot_details.aspx?intObjectID=1489775 | |

You can pick up a Sharpe cane rod for under £100 vintage in good nick. But you should get £50-60 for it which is better than a kick up the arse with a hob nail boot, since you got for nix. Try the owld flea bay if nowt else. | |

| try your local salerooms,they sometimes do sporting sales,ive had a couple of rods from my local one. | |

| Your nearest fishing shop should know of people who do valuations. I sold alot of Hardys/Greys gear last year but no idea on Sharpe gear. |
