| Mods feel free to move this to the Photo or Technical Section if necessary. I think my suspension set up is too low. So can anyone who has a side on pic of their motor please post it up to give me a comparison. I cannot even get my fingers between the tyre and my back wheel arch and I think it wants jacked up a bit. And if I have anyone bigger than an 8 year old kid in the back seat, I hit the speed humps It has the adjustable malarky fitted, so I'd just need someone who knows their stuff if I decide it needs altering. See what you think: Cheers, Andy. | |

| Hi Andy. it does look a bit low at the rear, and maybe a little bit low at the front. As a guide, when we set rally cars up we have the rear 15mm higher than the front. This allows for the rear end squatting under accelleration which, depending on the dampness of the shocks, should level the car out and give best traction.
As wheel arches vary front to rear the best way to measure it is park on a flat road and use the sill as a guide- i.e. rear of front wheel arch for front measurement and front of rear wheel arch for rear measurement.
But like everything, it depends on driver preference and how you want the car to feel. Lower rear end = more understeer, higher rear = more oversteer.
Cheers, Chris. | |

| It looks very similar to how my car is set up and the only time I've noticed anything was when driving a little enthusiatically over some dipping roads with a boot full of camping gear it scrubbed once or twice! I personally think it looks better that little bit lower but each to their own | |

I personally think it looks better that little bit lower but each to their own Don't get me wrong, I like the low look, but the scraping over the speed humps brings tears to my eyes. Just toying with the idea of altering it at the minute, just wanted a few pics of other motors to see if mine was drastically different. Andy | |
