Have been looking through old posts on scoobynet and here is an old post of mine from july 2006.
yip yarm is nearest shell but beware their prices have gone stupid lately 99.9p to 106.9 in about 10 days. tesco dixons bank 99 ron i think thats up to 102.9p now quite steady prices up there. actually cheaper than most 97 ron petrol garages in the area: cannon park has been sold to priory next door(gone for good)

im devastated my fuel has gone up too £10 for 5 gallon ,, how am i supposed to run my car on increases like that
