| Hi Dean, Your fuel use will not change and there are no performance advantages.
The main reason for fitting a higher flow fuel pump is to make sure that the car does not run short of fuel at high boost causing the car to lean out and possibly melt down.
Plus if you fit one now it will support all of your future mods.

| As per answer above, the fuel pump alone shouldnt impact your MPG, its the addition of the bigger injectors, bigger turbo, FMIC blah blah blah blah and remap that follows shortly afterwards that really does the damage | |

| If you pull back you passenger front carpet, remove the treee bolts on the large metal footplate and your ECU is under that, you will have the code in large letters on the ECU sticker.
I am sure that loads of lads will be in touch about mapping your type of ECU or you may be lucky and be able to swap it for another type.
I am one of the unlucky one's with an un-mappable car - or at least unmappable until I can spend over a grand on ECU mod's.

| It would be a lot more sensible to fit the power fc just prior to a remap, the standard setting map in the power fc runs the timing quite far advanced, I have seen quite a few det really badly before mapping on the standard map setting.
you would be wise not to fit it before mapping.
The Power fc is a cracking bit of kit for the cash, I have ran them in both of my 400+bhp classics.
