Fault Code Readers

Wasn't sure where to put this, but thought it was suitable here, move if needed.

Any recommendations for a decent fault code reader for the Scoob?

depending what year. the classic has its own by far the best reader

I bought one of these. OK its not exactly pro / garage level, but its worked fine for me, helping me diagnose faults and clearing the codes when Ive fixed things. Im sure other people will have some alternative recommendations. To some extent it probably depends on how much cash you have at your disposal, there are plenty to choose from.

we have a similar one they are good for the money Very Happy

It's a year 2000 classic.

Has it's own reader?? scratch

yup plug the 2 black connectors with a single wire going to them under the dash together then look at the engine management flash

What's the engine management flash??

tells you the code slow flashes = 10
fast flashes = 1
