| Don't forget you will need a full true 3" exhaust system with that setup, have you used manifold spacers and removed all manifold heating too???
what fuel pressure reg are you running as you may need to raise the fuel pressure with 550's to hit 400bhp?
what air filter are you using?
what ecu and fuel are you planning on running?

| Gipa, are you taking anything off yours that I could donor onto mine ? I'm standard everything apart from the full decat pipes etc and K&N panel. I'm thinking turbo and the like to get me up over 300 for now. Oh christ, I wish I'd never started all this, I know how easily I get addicted to things. | |

| I ran an 03 wrx gearbox in my RB5 when I was running 420bhp and it lasted very well despite Kindon trying to brake it | |

| Gipa, What uppipe are u using with the GT spec headers, as the uppipe on these is big if you can get a flutted uppipe they make a massive difference on spool up. It reduced mine by about 400-500rpm. | |

| GT spec headers are 65-68mm at the collector then continue at that dia. Upto the turbo, the inlet on the turbo will be about 48mm. The fluted uppipe is 65-68mm at the collector but 48mm at the turbo which speeds up the flow and reduces turbo lag. They are one of the best mods I've done on my car the difference was amazing.
The problem for most people on here is Harvey does them, I know what your going to say but they are really worth it.

Harvey doesn't do them he just knows where to buy them, it was the same when he did the hybrid intercooler as he thought they were his invention but it was just he knew where to buy them . If your after the same up pipe I know of someone who can make them if you have a sample.

Harvey did me a deal it was £120 which I didn't think was bad for the improvement, As yellowperil says Harvey gets them from somewhere else, I know Area52 do them now for about the same price.

That will be fine for your needs mate, as for NF, it will allow you to run more ignition timing, I ran an extra 4 degrees timing running 2 mil NF per ltr of optimax (years ago) this gave me a good 20hp gain well worth it in my opinion.
